English Essay
The essay the I chose was an argumentative essay. I chose this essay because the topic it is on is something that is important to me, Student Athletes Mental Health. In this essay I researched different ways athletes are struggling differently than regular students and because their needs are different, they need different resources specific to them. This essay helped me gain many knowledgeable facts about the research process which I will use into my Graduate degree. I was able to find reliable sources for facts used in my essay. Along with this I was able to strengthen my writing skills by writing something that I was passionate about.
Career Paper
This paper is a little bit different than a regular essay or paper. This paper goes into detail of a pharmacist. For this class we were able to pick any health career we wanted; I chose a pharmacist because that is hopefully something I will have as a career. Throughout this paper it discusses what they do, a day in the life, the type of people they serve, the working conditions, etc.…. While I was researching these different things, I was able to but some of the pieces together if I wasn’t able to find exactly what I needed. An example of this I used in the paper was when I was writing the day in the life. I was able to find some other example day in the life blogs, but it wasn’t exactly what I needed so I put in my knowledge that I previously had learned from what pharmacist do in order to complete the part.
